Jose and Nicole chose to come to Pismo Beach and do a portrait session for their 10th Anniversary as Husband and Wife. Pirates Cove provided the beach location with a beautiful view of the coastline. I love to have fun with my portrait sessions because it will reflect in the images I produce. If you are not having fun, you can tell in the pictures.
A little fun history about this location: There is part of the beach that is a nude beach. It became a nude beach in the 1960’s. The bluff was once a look out spot for whale fisherman since the view spans so far.
You can see a lot of ocean life while taking in the coastline. It is not uncommon to see sea otters, whales, sea lions and even sting rays when the water is very clear. Guests often come to sit for hours and relax. I usually come to this spot a little early when I have a session scheduled here, to peacefully take it all in.
