Best spots for a private elopement in Pismo Beach CA

With Covid, many couples are looking for a small, intimate locations to officially tie the knot. I have been asked my recommendations for locations so many times that I decided to make a blog post about it to help even more couples. If you would like more information or directions, please send me an email at info@JaydynBlairPhotography.com or fill out the contact for below. No obligation, just honest advice for someone born and raised in San Luis Obispo County.

Beach Below Sea Crest Hotel during low tide. Cool caves make this location so much fun and relaxed. Plenty of places for photos with less people walking around than downtown Pismo Beach. This location is good anytime of day just make sure it is low tide.

Margo Dodd Beach Park Reservations can be made through the City of Pismo Beach. The best time of day for this location is 90 minutes before sunset.

Pirate’s Cove. This location has breathtaking views and can sometimes be crowded. My advice would be to use this location for a weekday wedding and 90 minutes before sunset.

Monarch Butterfly Grove. This location is fun and relaxed with plenty of space for social distancing. This location is best 90 minutes before sunset.

Here are a few places outside of Pismo Beach, CA that are worth checking out too.

Sweet Springs Reserve in Baywood, CA

Moon Stone Beach in Cambria CA

Montana de Oro. This location is amazing but very crowded. My advice would be a daytime wedding or a week day wedding. Permits may be required depending on the amount of people attending.
